Call for Submission Deadline Extended Until Sunday, December 15

If you haven’t completed your ArtFields submission yet, artists now have until Sunday, December 15 at 11:59 p.m. EST to enter the ArtFields Art Competition. The Call for Submissions is open online for established and emerging artists who wish to submit 2-D or 3-D pieces at

Artists from 12 Southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia) are once again invited to compete for $100,000 in total cash prizes. The largest purse of any art competition in the Southeast, these career-changing funds will be awarded as a Top Prize ($50,000), a Juried Panel prize ($25,000), a People’s Choice two-dimensional ($12,500) and a People’s Choice three-dimensional ($12,500) prize.

Submissions may include but are not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, digital media and installation art. Submissions will be accepted online and then reviewed by a jury of visual art professionals who will ultimately select hundreds of pieces to compete for the prize money. Accepted artists will be notified no later than January 15, 2014.

Applicants must be 18 or over by December 15, 2013 and reside in one of the selected states. Only original artwork is eligible for submission and must have been completed within two years of the registration deadline.
