Lives and works in Lexington, SC
I use photography to evoke a memory, thought, or feeling. I began photography with film 36 years ago and experimented with different techniques and with the development of digital photography I have found other ways to create. I have always had a passion with fabric and found that I could print my images on satin fabric which results in a crisp image that brings interest to the work. The colors are vibrant and have more depth than can be seen on paper. Fabric also has a sheen that changes with light. All prints are gallery wrapped and many are framed with reclaimed lumber.
In the last three years, I have begun the journey of art shows and exhibits. A few of the shows or exhibits I have participated in the last couple of year are the following:
-Flowertown Festival
-Brookgreen Garden Art Festival
-Nourishing Art/Aiken Center for the Arts
-Smaller Beckons Exhibit at the TAPPS
-Aiken's Makin
-Made in the South/Charleston
-Gilmore Christmas Show/Columbia
-Makers' Market/ArtFields
-Georgetown Maritime Museum
