Bradd Parton is an artist and writer living in South Carolina. He is best known as the creator of the Alpha-Sketch technique where every line in an image is actually a letter of the alphabet. Bradd uses only one of each of the 26 letters to create each drawing. There are no repetitions, omissions, or extra lines.
Bradd is the author and illustrator of over a dozen books for children including “L, M, N…OH!," “I AM NOT A CAT PERSON,” “O, SAY CAN U C?,” and “THE LETTERS GO TO LUNCH.” Additionally, his work has been published by Dark Horse Comics and Mad Monster Magazine. A graduate of Furman University and the University of South Carolina, Bradd is also a nationally-certified teacher with a master’s degree and 17 years of public school teaching experience. In addition to his art and writing, Bradd enjoys presenting Alpha-Sketch programs to promote literacy and creativity in elementary and middle schools.
