Ansley Adams works in a variety of subjects in order to explore and express private and deeply personal emotions. Adam’s current work is focused on addressing the concept of body image. Through floral and forest symbolism, she speaks to femininity, beauty, and rebirth. She seeks to create work which is open and honest, that allows her to embrace a healthy and genuine perception of self. In recent years her work has been focused on representing her inner self during times of upheaval, change or loss, through metaphorical representations in interior and still-life paintings.
