Ed Croom’s photographs have been exhibited in art museums, and government buildings including permanent installations. The images have been published in print and online journals and magazines including the “Saturday Evening Post” and the “Smithsonian.” My book, “The Land of Rowan Oak: An Exploration of Faulkner's World” ( Univ. Press of Miss. 2016), has over 130 photographs that recorded for more than a decade William Faulkner's "little postage stamp of soil" where he lived and wrote many of his great works. This book shows Faulkner's most personal and intimate landscape -- revealing the plants and landscape where he lived were his private muses evoking the literary landscapes in his fictional Yoknapatawpha County.
