Yelitza Diaz was born in Venezuela in September 1973. In 2013, she moved to the United States, where she works together with her husband, on her online art gallery and her art studio at home. Since childhood, she has been wrapped in the life of the arts. She graduated from the arts school Arturo Michelena of Valencia-Venezuela (1991-1995), She attended countless art workshops and participated in important competitions of Fine Arts at national and international levels, where she was granted awards and recognitions for her work. Also, she worked as instructor of art, professor of Art Education and Art History, and some of her works are in Important collections in Venezuela, Europe, and USA. So, she forged her way as an artist and sculptor.
Passionate about human figure, she makes her sculptures with ceramic techniques under a minimalist-contemporary style, with a clear inclination for human existentialism, generally based on political and social developments in her native country, and with her work intended to reflect the hope and despair of the human being.
