As the 21st century progresses, young adults everywhere are being faced with a mental health crisis. This social epidemic has been instigated by the increasing use of technology in our everyday lives, most specifically in our use of cellphones. As the abuse of these devices continues to be normalized, more individuals retreat into their phones. In my piece, "Escape From Reality," I hope to convey the blindness that technology can cause when one misuses their properties.
