This artwork is an ode to my aunt and uncle. My aunt loves all things Cottage Core like snails, mushrooms, and woodland creatures. My uncle loved skateboarding, hiking, and spending time camping in the woods. I hope to be as good at skateboarding as he was one day. Or at least as good as the snail. I think this print represents his memory well. Linoleum block printing is my mom's favorite medium and I have loved learning how to carve the linoleum! I have enjoyed making this artwork inspired by my family!
