Exhibitions

Acline Studios was opened in conjunction with the 2024 Competition & Festival. This facility houses a gallery space, shared outdoor workspace, and 9 studio spaces. This space aims to serve our artist community and provide year-round programming opportunities. Visitors can explore rotating exhibitions in the gallery portion while artists maintain their working studios in the back of the building.

Jones-Carter Gallery was the first gallery space in Lake City. Originally a feed and seed store, this 3,000 square foot gallery space was renovated in 2013 and now showcases year-round, rotating art exhibitions. 

ArtFields often collaborates with other art institutions to bring large exhibitions to Lake City! When this happens, multiple gallery spaces are utilized including Jones-Carter Gallery, TRAX Visual Art Center, Acline Studios, The R.O.B., and others. TRAX Visual Art Center instantly became one of South Carolina’s largest art centers when it opened in 2018 for the ArtFields Competition & Festival. A former warehouse, today TRAX’s 5,000 square feet includes two large gallery spaces and a sculpture garden. Our location in the heart of downtown Lake City is important to us – keeping us connected to our friends and neighbors and inviting all who love and appreciate art to make it part of their every day experience.
