Factory 15 Design Studio Paul Hurst & Tim Hurst

Tim Hurst was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1957. Paul Hurst followed four years later in 1961.  Tim and his brother Paul work in wood and metal to create 2D and 3D wall sculptures.  Factory 15 Design Studio was started by the pair in Lexington, KY in 2003 as a collaborative to design, build, and market their designs.  Primary influences for their work include Piet Mondrian, Wassily Kandinsky, and others working in Geometric Abstraction.   Ray and Charles Eames and the Mid-Century design movement also have a strong influence on their work which hangs in private collections world-wide.
