Thomas Schmidt is an interdisciplinary artist, and co-founder of the design team Recycled China. He has exhibited his work at numerous venues in the United States, Europe and Asia with work in public collections including the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche; Faenza, Italy, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK. A 2016 recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council Fellowship, Thomas currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary 3D Studio and Digital Fabrication at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Jefferson Ellinger is founding partner of Ellinger/Yehia Design (E/Ye Design) and has built several projects throughout North America and won several international competitions. His work has been featured in multiple international publications, exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and was highlighted in his TEDx Talk. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University in New York City and a BS in Architecture from Ohio State University. Ellinger currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
