"More Than One Can Bear" is a multi-piece sculpture in which a large bear is standing its ground against a collection of three rabbits standing tall and confident against the bears presence. The bear roars in an attempt to prove its dominance over the small prey animals. The work is meant to show that with numbers we are able to stand up to our predators no matter their magnitude or ferocity. We are able to be both predator and prey but the ways we choose to act defines how we will affect others positions within these spaces. We must decide our own place in the relationship instead of just reacting. We cannot be content with being a passive prey or an oppressive predator.
