Kelli Scott Kelley is a Professor of Painting and Drawing at Louisiana State University. Kelley received her MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She authored a book featuring her narrative artwork entitled "Accalia and the Swamp Monster", published in 2014 by LSU Press. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally at museums and galleries. She has had solo exhibitions at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Bradbury Art Museum, The Masur Museum of Art, Micholson Museum of Art, and the LSU Museum of Art. Kelley’s work is featured in the permanent collections of the Hall Art Foundation, LSU Museum of Art, Tyler Museum of Art, the Eugenia Summer Gallery Mississippi University for Women, and the East Baton Rouge Parish Special Collections. Her work is represented by Soren Christensen Gallery in New Orleans and she is a long-time artist member of Baton Rouge Gallery Center for Contemporary Art.
