Masela Nkolo, is a Congolese artist, who was born in 1990 in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2010, while he was still a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Congo, he began his artistic career. Currently, as a multidisciplinary artist, he resides in Atlanta, GA, and possesses a sensitivity to the abstract representation of the world.
For him, an artist is someone who creates and that creation is life continued. His motto is short and simple, "Art is everything you think about and everything you see." By combining different material and ideas from past and present, he merges them together to create and portray unseen individuals' worlds within this world.
