This work is part of a series of experiments in portraiture that incorporate my photographic work with printmaking and drawings I created with children. The primary drawing is done by me but incorporates etched line work from children's drawings as a texture. The mirrored plexiglass also allows the observer to be included in the work by reflection. My interest in portraiture is in exploring likeness and how a portrait can be more about than the individual and can represent a common image of humanity.
