Patrick Faile

Raised in rural farming community outside Rock Hill, SC, Patrick developed a deep connection to nature and wildlife. He has a long-term interest in art beginning at an early age and spanning more than 60 years. Being mostly self-taught, his only formal education in art was through the public school system. After graduating from public school, his entry into engineering school gave him a new appreciation for graphic arts and his drafting skills flourished. He became very skilled in the use of graphite and pen & ink in the preparation of architectural and mechanical drawings that graduated to fine art. He continues to produce works in a variety of mediums, but his primary focus is watercolor and pen & ink.
