While taking a long break from my work, I was a full-time mom to 4 kids. As I got used to the mom's role, I opened my eyes to think about a better world for my children. From there, I began to search for the useful materials that were wasted. I found a bunch of electrical wires in my garage and realized I could use them for my project. Some neighbors donated the cables from their garage, and some friends brought up the unused wires. It was a pain to peel all the dirty electrical cords, but I did enjoy seeing the transformation from the trashed cables to small flowers. "re:bloom-Raining Flowers" is one of my re-born projects. As the forgotten or trashed electric cord transformed into copper flowers, I wished to restart myself to work as an artist. "Flower" is often referred to as a wishing object to bring happiness. I wish all the people standing in front of my work would feel like they were walking under the blossoming trees on a beautiful spring day, as a refreshing moment.
