“I believe that all of us can change the life of someone else.” In my sculptures I try to shine a light on some challenges that people, especially children, face today. For the past year I have realized the magnitude of child hunger and to think that many children do not have nothing to eat or that school lunch is the only meal they receive has made me rethink, “What are we lacking as humanity?.” In this artwork “There is no time for fun” I want people to realize the harsh reality of poverty, and how an empty stomach can affect the life of a child.
