I am a whimsical watercolor artist that loves to paint realistic portraits of people (especially children), and wildlife. I’ve always loved painting and drawing, but now it has become a passion and way to cope with chronic illness and pain in the last 6 years since I was forced to end my career as a labor and delivery nurse. I love finding the spark that lies within my subjects and make them come alive for the viewer. I especially love painting the eyes. I really do see them as the window to our souls. Within all creatures, great and small, lies a depth of beauty, truth, and joy that is just waiting to unfold I try to connect with that and bring it to life through paper and paint.
