Hyun Jung Kim received her BFA and MFA from the Department of Sculpture at Seoul National University in Korea, and her MFA from Montclair State Universityin the United States, where she went on to teach for nine years. She hasparticipated in numerous exhibitions, including the Museum Turnov (CzechRepublic), Young- Eun Museum (ROK), Newark Museum, A.I.R. Gallery, PPOWGallery, and George Segal Gallery. In 2017, Kim was invited for a solo exhibitionat the Woman’s National Democratic Club in D.C. and her works have beenadded to the collections of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to theUnited Nations in New York and Capital One’s headquarters in Richmond. HyunJung Kim recently exhibited her works at the National Assembly of the Republic ofKorea and in Athens, Greece, and has been selected as an associate artist ofTorpedo Factory Art Center in Virginia.
