Janna Phillips

Janna Phillips is a multidisciplinary artist. She spent her school years growing up in Massachusetts and moved south for college. She has her BA in Art Education and Painting & Drawing from Anderson University in South Carolina and a MA in Art Administration from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Janna strives to create, imagine, and impact. Across all mediums, her approach to art is very detailed and naturalistic. She creates oil paintings inspired by the world around her. Many paintings are inspired by southern landscapes and elements of nature. Marking new beginnings, her artwork is a reflection on seasons and time. Her artworks explore a personal journey of faith, seasons of life, and embracing the south. Art is very therapeutic for Janna. It is a way for her to express, question, and reflect on life and her surroundings.



Janna currently lives in Crestwood North, Birmingham, AL and works out of her detached art studio.
