I'm a retired Delta Air Lines captain with interests in art, railroads and aviation. I spent 5 1/2 years in the U.S.Air Force and just under 30 years flying for Delta. My wife and I had lived in Atlanta for 47 years but moved to Greenville, SC 4 1/2 years ago to be near our daughter, her husband and two grandchildren. Our adult son still lives and works in Atlanta. My pastel technique is strictly self taught and I try to depict railroad scenes from the 1940's and 1950's that can no longer be photographed. I've sold just one of my paintings to a friend but most have been completed for family members with an appropriate theme or just kept in my portfolio.
