The work consists of hundreds of photographs forming a coherent whole. The smaller images combine to created a vaguely familiar world that invites exploration. The work must have the power to surprise me even after completion. On a personal note it is important to me that every element is derived from my own photography. I am not sure why this is important. Perhaps it is an adherence to authenticity or at worst simple vanity.
