My work is inspired by the common beauty of the environment and humanity, my work seeks to find a story to tell. My favorite stories to explore are those that juxtapose the ugly: unpolished, broken, used, disheveled, and mad, with those that touch the beautiful: nature, humanity, vitality, and intention. My work's complexity does not come from estimating its conceptual meaning but finding connection through the shared human experiences of beauty, truth, and emotion.



I work with acrylic, watercolor, and gouache on paper and canvas. My current work incorporates found objects with traditional painting.



I am a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where I find inspiration in the South's dark history, gorgeous landscapes, and briny water. My work has been shown throughout the South-East and published in several publications.
