Mr. Blue (I never knew his first name) was a man who worked at the school where I taught in Georgia. He was known as the "Best Dressed Man on Campus". Mr. Blue was a custodian who made all of his own clothes. He told me that he had taken a class in sewing and could make pretty much anything. All of his pants, shirts, coats, etc. were hand made by him. I particularly liked the beautiful corduroy coat that he wore. He very graciously agreed to pose for me in the coat. When I asked him why he was cleaning a school building instead of running a tailor business, he said, "I don't want to deal with the hassle." He was a very interesting man. I hope my portrait of him shows that about him.
