Originally created as an Illustration for a book cover dealing with mental health and the black community. The story I was trying to tell is that we (in the black community) often depend on old, outdated, and sometimes wrong (Phrenology) information to diagnose our issues. I wanted to show some vulnerability and let the viewer know that it's alright to let go of the things that we like to define us.
