Patrick Parise began his art career at a young age, enjoying painting and sculpting even before high school. Upon graduation he began formal studies at Bethany College in Salina, Kansas, and finished up in the Art Studio program at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Numerous accomplishments include selection as the monthly winner of “Your Studio Competition,” Saatchi Gallery, London, England, inclusion in 20th and 30th Anniversary Exhibitions, SC State Museum, solo shows in 2005-08 at Gallery 80808/Vista Studios and 2010 and 2015 at City Art Gallery, both in Columbia, SC. He designed and created twenty four mahogany candelabras for a local church and was juried into the 11-state competition at Artfields in 2014-2019. Parise also was chosen to provide 150 etchings depicting SC scenes for gifts to foreign dignitaries presented by the S.C. Development Board and was commissioned to create 71 etchings for a 25-room guesthouse at Houndslake Country Club in Aiken, SC.
