Art quilting is my passion. I have sewn since the age of 7, but since 1996 I have worked with fabric and currently design my own modern quilts intentionally made for hanging but can be functional as well. I belong to the Charleston Modern Quilt Guild and Cobblestones Quilt Guild and am a former member of SAQA. I have taken many classes over the years from Irene Roderick, Victoria Findley Wolfe, Maria Shell, Kaffe Fassett, Judith Dales and many others. I am currently about to take the seventh year of a 10 year course with Hollis Chatelain. I have entered numerous quilt shows in the past and most recently placed in Modern Quilt category in Asheville Quilt Show.
