I am a self-taught artist and I have loved drawing before I started grade school. My father was an artist and I started drawing by mimicking what he was working on. I remember drawing trees and barns. I started with pencils then pen and ink drawings and as the years went by, I tried acrylics, oils, airbrushing, watercolors and landed back to square one with colored pencils. I draw what I see, in either my mind or what is in front of me. I draw from my own photos, memories and dreams. I found that I enjoy the research on one of my drawings as much as the actual drawing.
