I am from southern West Virginia. In May, I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a master’s degree in Metals. Currently, my work focuses on the opioid epidemic that plagues the mountains of Appalachia. Soon, I will be moving to Ft. Myers, Florida to begin a career at Florida Gulf Coast University as a Studio Manager for the Art Department and Adjunct Sculpture Professor.
