This work follows a progression from macro photo documentation to Op Art digital collages to video animation. My research concerns nitrous oxide’s impact on lichen species. These organisms are bioindicators for the greenhouse gas and, by studying changes in regional populations, scientists can track changes in air quality. I took macro photos of lichen and created digital collages resembling geometric structures with unstable dimensions.
