My ongoing anatomical series explores the inherent confusion and contradictions contained within modern life. The hyper-geometric lines of the pen creating an uneasy symbiosis with the ink lines drawn with my breadth mark and body prints, an intentionally opaque relationship between these polar opposites. Set in a blank context of white purgatory I hope to create a sense of rational dispassion in the viewer, like that of a scientist viewing slides under her microscope.
