Her work has been exhibited at the Mindy Solomon Gallery, the Society for Contemporary Crafts, the Ohr O’Keefe Museum, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, James A. Michener Art Museum, the Crocker Art Museum, the Mint Museum, the Clay Studio and the Northern Clay Center. Her work is in private and public collections in the US, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
She received her BFA degree from The Ohio State University and her MFA degree from the NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her awards include a Fulbright Hayes grant to conduct research on traditional architecture in Nigeria, and a Windgate Distinguished Fellow for Innovation in Craft award. She was a AIR at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark, the Medalta Ceramic Center Alberta, Canada and recently awarded a 2022-3 from the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences.
Currently, she is Professor of Art at UNC Charlotte, NC in the Department of Art & Art History.
