Artist Bio
An aspiring woman named Princess Chandler is a self-taught artist based in Kingstree, South Carolina. Princess love for embroidery began at the age of 14 and drawing at the age of 21. She graduated from Williamsburg Technical College with an Associate's degree in Early Childhood, however she decided to take a different direction and pursue art. Since 2019, she has been making art that includes drawing and embroidering onto fabric. She illustrates her art based on personal experiences and urban culture. She then uses an embroidery hoop, fabric, varies colored threads, embellishments, and marker to make a beautiful art piece. Princess' embroidering influences are Ruth Miller and Kathrin Marchenko. Princess biggest achievements are showing her artwork to family, friends, and social media. Furthermore, discovering herself as an artist.
