David Marion

David Marion, a South Carolina native based in Richmond, VA, is a gifted artist with a talent for storytelling through vibrant paintings. A Hampton University graduate in Architecture, Marion specializes in figurative art and portraiture using oil as his medium of choice. Exhibiting in major cities, he's on the path to national recognition. Committed to community impact, Marion, with his wife Tiara, founded the Liberated Flow Charity Art Gala, leveraging art for non-profit support. He served as the "official poster" artist for the RVA 2nd Street Festival and contributed to the RVA Community Makers project at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art.







Drawing inspiration from his life, Marion's art reflects positive themes of black life, family, and the African American struggle. His goal is to communicate powerfully through art, sharing his story to inspire others and reveal the inherent gifts within them.
