I am a woodworker and recent graduate from the Cabinet and Furniture Making program at North Bennet Street School, where I also served as a teaching assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. I have held a fellowship at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine and am currently a Resident Artist at Pocosin Arts School of Fine Craft in Columbia, North Carolina. My work has been featured in Fine Woodworking magazine, and I was a finalist in the International Society of Furniture Designers' 2023 Innovation + Design Awards. Much of my work reflects an appreciation for the natural world and its forms. Because of my existence as a woman in a male-dominated industry and in society at large, my more recent work unavoidably delves into the female experience. I aim to evoke a broad range of emotions and impressions - anger, sensuality, humor, irreverence, fragility, and joy - based on the conflicting expectations I face within my day-to-day reality.
