I am a painter and traveler that experiments with the properties of materials I can suspend in oil. There are so many painting techniques and materials both traditional and modern to be explored in painting. I tend to paint the environment I spend time in, and people most close to me. Family and friends both old and new.

My painting tells a story in a moment of time. It is a way to freeze the action in a moment and develop the feeling of that moment in the past and present. As I work on the painting it is infused with feeling. I love the physicality of paint and the action of painting.

What can I get the paint to do? There is a primal physicality and an ever expanding knowledge of chemistry to it that is wonderful.
