Activation Stations open at 11am-7pm Friday, April 25th, and then follow regular open hours for the duration of the festival. Scott Anderson
Aiken, SC
Scott was born and raised in Needham, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS degree in mechanical engineering. He spent the next 38 years working in the aerospace industry. Scott's career revolved around working with and for the primary jet engine manufacturers to develop the next generation of aircraft engines for both commercial and military applications. While at school, he also minored in art and has been sketching and painting off and on ever since being a pre-teen. His retirement, seven years ago, brought him and his wife, Sharon down to Aiken, SC. Since retirement, he has been free to spend more time painting in both watercolor and oil. He is an active member of the Aiken Artist Guild and the Aiken Center for the Arts and regularly displays his at in local restaurants, businesses and art shows.
