Corinna Nicole received her BA in Art at the University of Montevallo in 2008, and in 2011 she completed her MFA in Art Practice at UC Berkeley. Since 2012, Corinna has been inspired by the natural phenomena of Murmurations, or Starling flocks. In creating her paintings, she wants to evoke a sense of movement and inspire thoughts around connection and shared experiences. Corinna explains, "A Starling alone is a beautiful and remarkable bird, but it is when they gather and fly together that they create an unforgettable experience for onlookers. As a flock, Starlings are intricately unified, operating like a hive-mind as they perform aerial dances." She hopes her paintings captivate viewers much like a Murmuration would. Corinna has been a member of the Women's Caucus for Art since 2016 and served as the Alabama chapter's Communication Lead for two years. She creates, exhibits, and sells her art in her public studio located at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, Alabama.
