Leeann Rae is an artist based in Orlando, Florida, whose work delves into the complexities of memory and its inherent flaws. A recent graduate of the MFA Studio Art and Design program at the University of Central Florida (2023), Leeann was distinguished with both the College of Arts and Humanities Scholarship and a Graduate Teaching Assistantship. She discovered a passion for teaching collegiate courses in drawing and design, and is now an Adjunct at Valencia College. Leeann's artistic practice centers on the creation of large-scale drawings, utilizing charcoal and soft pastels to craft visual interpretations of how she reconstructs and distorts memory. Her work has been exhibited in several national and international juried exhibitions.
