Michael Stradley

Michael Stradley is a designer interested in the transformative, disruptive, and sometimes comical potential of emerging design technology. Stradley's work and research cuts across a range of scales and disciplinary distinctions, often exploring the reciprocal relationship between fine-art
practice and architectural production.
Recent projects include oil paintings executed by CNC-machine, a book of computer-generated brushstrokes, a tessellated pavilion at the site of Woodstock, and an exploration of architectural color theory in the context of computational design.
Stradley holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Architectural Design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently serving as the 2024-2026 Ventulett NEXT Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Architecture in Atlanta.
