ArtFields 2023 Wet Paint Competition

The Lake City ArtFields Collective is excited to announce the ArtFields 2023 Wet Paint Competition! Our plein air day is getting a revamp in this exciting new competition.

WHERE: Lake City, SC during ArtFields 2023

WHEN: Sunday, April 23rd from 1 – 4PM with awards selected by judge Chris Groves. Artists will be awarded $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place.

HOW: Artists can pre-register HERE to participate in the competition. Participating artists will check in on April 23rd from 11AM – 1PM at the Welcome Center at 103 W Main Street to get their canvas or support officially stamped before heading around town to create their artwork.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by and talk to the artists about their process during the afternoon!
