Originally from Saint Louis MO, Charleston SC is now my home. Having been raised in a military family, we were constantly on the move. As a child I learned quickly to acclimate, to make order of our gypsy-like lifestyle. In doing so, I became accustomed to observing, and found a lifelong friend in art.

The art spirit has given me a sense of place, a home, no matter where I am. I am an illustrator and graphic designer by profession, but had longed to explore my own creative pursuits again. After a long pause while raising my family, I now have the ability to do just that. Since moving to Charleston, I have been involved in many endeavors, some creative and some community related. Winning several awards for my work is validating and encouraging, but I still consider myself a beginner. Every experience contributes to who I am. While I do not have a degree, I have attended universities and art schools, and still do from time-to-time to update skills; however, I am mostly self-taught.
