Gary Mesa-Gaido-Gaido is a Professor of Art at Morehead State University and has an artist studio in Morehead, Kentucky. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including solo, two-person, and small and large group. Displaying work in international, national and regional juried and invitational exhibits, his pieces have been viewed at diverse venues, including the Abraham Lubelski Gallery in New York City, San Francisco’s Museo ItaloAmericano, Alexandria Museum of Art, New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, Avampato Discovery Museum, Lagrange Art Museum, Rockford Art Museum, Alexandria Museum of Art, Huntington Museum of Art, Holter Museum of Art, Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, William King Museum of Art, Fine Arts Museum of the South, and the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art.
Support for Mesa-Gaido-Gaido’s artwork includes two prestigious Kentucky Arts Council Al Smith Fellowships and multiple awards at competitive international, national and regional juried exhibitions His pieces are held in the permanent collections of individuals as well as organizations, such as the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Avampato Discovery Museum, and Pittsburgh Plate and Glass.
