Alinda Saintval is a Haitian-American artist currently based in Boynton Beach, Florida. She's been creating since 2012 and focused on portraiture in 2014. Her work combines realism and abstraction in a narrative that draws from dream-like states and human interactions. Her paintings feature juxtapositions of fragmented reality with a strong emphasis on the relationship between subject and color through the use of acrylic and oil paint. Saintval graduated with a Bachelor's in Visual Arts Studies with a concentration in 2D media from the University of Florida in 2019. Her work has been displayed at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, D.C., NOMA gallery in Ocala, FL, and the first all Caribbean Art Museum in the US, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum in Broward, FL.
