I am a self-taught artist living in Richwood, West Virginia, currently exploring 3-dimensional work by incorporating my polymer air-dry clay sculptures onto found objects.
I create biomorphic forms that one might see in the forest or in the sea and make them appear to grow together on the unlikeliest of things, imagining how nature may reclaim what we no longer use.
In doing so, I seek to instill a renewed appreciation for objects that could otherwise be discarded, and perhaps help the viewer develop a way of seeing things and circumstances from a perspective of possibility and promise.
