Mina is an artist that specializes in the precious Hanji (Korean traditional paper) arts and miniature three-dimensional landscape & scenery creations.
Born in Seoul, South Korea she relished experimenting with different creative styles from a young age.
However, it was only after she discovered the existence of this type of Korean paper decades ago that is collected from mulberry trees, did she begin to use Hanji as her main creative material. Since then, she has brought to life typical scenes by using Hanji in her works.
Currently based in Alabama, she has been a part of a military family for over 42 years. After a long journey involving multiple military moves, she finally permanently moved back to America a few years ago and Mina started participating in local art competitions in GA and AL.
