I was born in 1990 in Hemingway, SC to two young parents. I spent most of my younger years living in a home with my mother and my grandmother, but my entire family played a part in raising me and influencing my love of art. As a kid I was always with my older cousins and many of them would come home with art projects that I could not do yet. My mother also drew a lot so I would notice her drawings around the house and that made me want to try it. I wanted to be just like her so anything she did, I did too. It started out as just graffiti style lettering and evolved from there. When I was seven years old, my mom and I moved to Charlotte, NC. There, she continued to foster my love of the arts by enrolling me in numerous after-school programs and buying me multiple art sets. She has always been my biggest motivation. Wanting to be better than her made me practice more and more, the older I got. In middle school, I began to challenge myself by drawing custom sneaker designs and people. I stopped taking official art classes in the 9th grade because of sports but it was always my stress reliever and kept me sane through everything. After graduating high school, I went on to attend North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to study political science. Even while in college, I could not stay away from painting and drawing. Now, I still practice every chance that I get even though it is not my official profession. Everything I do is completely self-taught.
