When most people think of pictures of nature, they think of snow leopards or tigers or pandas. I thought it would be fun to twist this convention on its head: by capturing a moment in time of a mythical beast in its natural environment if such a creature really existed. I'm in love with anything fantasy, and I love to share that with other people. I hope that when someone looks at my art, their eyes light up with joy. And I hope that my painting inspires people to find the fantastical hidden in the natural world. Where do you find fantastic beasts?
