Artist Statement

Art has always been a huge part of my life. I will always remember my dad drawing little pictures for me to hang up in my room when I was a child. My piece, Corruption, was made to portray my love for Greek mythology through the Greek goddess of justice, Themis, who shows justice by stepping on the neck of a snake. The main part of the piece is the scales that represent the scales of justice.
